What a cat-tastic day!

2013-10-13 19:33:49 by Jiovanni

Today during an outing to a storage unit center, I met a very nice and friendly black/white cat. This cat was so affectionate and sweet that it was constantly getting in our faces--demanding pets and adoration. It was nice and refreshing. I'm allergic to cats, so I can't keep any at the home. This cat was very friendly and nice. Needless to say, I was smitten and inspired-- so I went home and drew a Puma! It was supposed to be a cat face... but whatever!

It's strange how sometimes you can feel kinda bleah, but the love and innocence of an animal can motivate you, inspire you, and put you in a better mood! :-)

Animals are the best. This is one of my favourite pictures of yours.

Jiovanni responds:

Thank you! Glad you like it so much! If you have an suggestions for animal types for me to draw, I am welcome to ideas! :-)

Too bad there's no love and innocence amongst humans huh. :P Nice art!

Jiovanni responds:

Thank you! I think the only love and innocence among humans is between a mother and her newborn child. Once that child grows up into an adult and makes their own choices, good and bad, the innocence is lost. Well it is more or less lost once that child starts making their own choices good and bad.

anyways, there is love among humans and I think there is innocence between two human adults when one of them thinks their relationship is rocky steady, while the other is cheating in secret. There is innocence in that.

I am a big fan of birds, robins, blue tits, great tits, magpies, house sparrows, jays, blackbirds, dunnocks.

I suppose what I'm saying is that a picture of a bird would be cool. The innocence of a robin always looks good.

Jiovanni responds:

okay I can do that again. I have done a couple of birds and some owls, which are posted.

Well I googled robin birds, but I just could not get into it. So I surfed the art portal instead and tried my hand and a terrible attempt at drawing a woman with pen and charcoal. When I say terrible, I mean horrific. When I say horrific, I mean abomination.
